Wake to the forest, continue across steeper and muddier terrain, learn about local plant use, and take river breaks before reaching the second camp.

Explore around camp in the morning, eat a final jungle lunch, then pack and return toward Bukit Lawang by traditional tube raft when river conditions allow.

Orangutans, other primates, reptiles, birds, and tracks all depend on current conditions. The crew never guarantees a sighting.

How difficult is the 3-day jungle trek?
Expect heat, mud, roots, steep sections, river humidity, and several hours of walking each day. Guests should discuss fitness, mobility, and pace before confirming.
Are orangutan sightings guaranteed?
No wildlife sighting is guaranteed. Guides plan routes around good forest conditions and responsible viewing, but orangutans are not fed, chased, touched, called, or staged for photos.
